Pinewoods is located on the north Norfolk coast and is ideally situated for visiting areas of outstanding natural beauty, stately homes, arts and culture or just some good family fun.

Within Pinewoods there is a shop, playground, lake, bike hire, launderette and beach huts are available to hire from reception. There is direct access into the Pinewoods and the beach car park giving you access to the beach within minutes by foot.

The Holkham estate is less than 10 minutes away by car or by walking from the caravan through the Pinewoods and up Lady Anne's Drive, Holkham provides a variety of activities for families and couples and with the addition of the visitors centre there is something for everyone.

Wells town itself has a great selection of shops and restaurants selling local produce such as seafood, locally produced ice cream, meats and baked goods. So if you are not eating out you can buy some great ingredients to cook at the caravan.

Wells is in easy reach of all of the north Norfolk coast from Hunstanton (30 mins away) through to Cromer (40 mins away) with many beautiful coastal spots along the way such a Holme-next-the-sea, Brancaster, Holkham, Stiffkey, Blakeny and Sheringham. These provide many opportunities to have wonderful walks, see seals and many native and migratory birds.

For great days out there is also Fakenham (30 mins away) which has a thriving market on a Thursday and Burnham Market (15 mins away) which is a vibrant town centred around a village green with a selection of shops, gourmet deli's and eateries. For those who are looking for the a city day out Norwich is just under an hour away and is a wonderful city full of history with excellent shops and a fabulous day out.

The north Norfolk coast is also known for its railways. There is a full traditional steam train running form Holt to Sheringham and a narrow gauge railway from Wells to Walsingham.
